Please note that your mobineX eSIM will only activate once you arrive at your destination, although you can install it in advance before your flight. Installing the eSIM will not affect your existing MB balance or the validity period of your package (exceptions can be found in the detailed package description). If the eSIM covers more than one country, it will activate in any country included in the package coverage area (exceptions can be found in the package description).
For iPhone
Open the eSIM QR code on another device (laptop or another phone), or take a screenshot of it and save it to your photo gallery
Open your phone settings
Tap “MOBILE SERVICE” or “CELLULAR”
Tap “Add eSIM”
Select “USE QR CODE”
When the camera opens, scan your QR code (it is important to scan it using the device on which you plan to use the internet). Please note that QR codes are single-use only
After installation, tap the newly added eSIM
Turn on “DATA ROAMING”
Turn off “LIMIT IP ADDRESS TRACKING”
In “MOBILE DATA”, select the mobineX eSIM
To use the internet, make sure the “ALLOW MOBILE DATA SWITCHING” feature is turned off
To avoid excessive internet usage, we recommend turning off photo/video synchronisation.
For Android
Open the eSIM QR code on another device (laptop or another phone), or take a screenshot of it and save it to your photo gallery
Open your phone settings
Tap “CONNECTIONS”
Open “SIM MANAGER”
Tap “Add eSIM” or “+eSIM”
When the camera opens, scan the QR code (you can also scan the screenshot of the QR code directly from your gallery)
Return to “CONNECTIONS” and tap “MOBILE NETWORKS”
Enable “DATA ROAMING”
Select the mobineX eSIM for mobile internet usage
Make sure that “ALLOW 2G SERVICE” is turned off for the mobineX SIM/eSIM in “SIM MANAGER”
To avoid excessive internet usage, we recommend turning off photo/video synchronisation.
